words on the image *COMPLETED*
« on: Friday 02 October 20 15:11 BST (UK) »
The attached clipping of an image taken from Family Search at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-6G27-BBG is for the burial of Zabulon NEWINGTON and his mother Agnes.

I have seen a transcription for the burial date for mother and son as 3 Nov 1600 however the dates on a copy of the original look like 2 and 3 Nov 1600.

This difference makes me wonder as to exactly what does the image state?  It looks like it was written in Latin.  Perhaps Zabulon was baptised on the 2 and he and his mother buried on the 3rd.

Am seeking an opinion please.

It looks to me as though Zabulon was baptised on the 2nd, then he was buried with his mother the next day.

I am assuming the word before Zabulon's name is baptised but the image isn't super clear.
