Fathers Name and Townland
« on: Saturday 03 October 20 06:38 BST (UK) »
Tried to put the whole image up but too big. The townland is in Donegal and probably near Letterkenny.  A lot of them start with Drum.... If that's what others see. Forward thanks

If you want to see the page it is from. At "irish genealogy" the government website  Civil Records Registration area Letterkenny Marriage between Patrick Doherty and Mary Gallagher in 1882.
Heck. May not be her (townland looks the same) but on the off chance that she was born in 1864, not the 1862 that the marriage record indicates. Father listed as MR Gallagher.

Thanks Heywood and rlw254.  Sure does. Now off to check on a remarriage as the 1864 cert had a Mother Mary Batter and those brothers Daniel and Patrick. Also a McDaid marriage and births. My evening filled in.

Anthony and Anne formerly Gallagher whose Father was also Anthony married in 1868. There are 2 Marys aged 21 dieing in 1866 and 1867.  Wish they would hurry up with the 1864 to 1877 deaths.  Am over giving the Irish government $7.30 on a regular basis. Anthony is listed as a bachelor but being so young the mistake could easily be made. Thanks Kiltaglassan.  The Irish Batter's look to have been a bad lot. They only seem to show up in court.

A little bit of light has beamed on the weird Father entry for Mary Gallagher (Mother Mary formerly Batter) in February 1864. While Anthony married Anne in 1868, he registered a Bridget  to Anne born 3/4/1865
