Egg Harbor, NJ

Hello

Is there anyway of finding out land records dating back to the 18th Century around Egg Harbor, New Jersey?

A brother of my 9th Great Grandmother held land there from 1733 until 1767.

Samuel Cotton, Esquire, of Dadlington, Leicestershire, England, purchased in 1733, 11,308 acres of land on the Jersey side of the Delaware. When he died in 1767, 2,500 acres of the estate was left at Egg Harbor and was sold by his heirs, the descendants of his 3 sisters in 1772.

Not sure whether this is referencing this Samuel but there is a road in Egg Harbor Township called 'Samuel Cotton Avenue'.

Any help appreciated.
