Josselyn D’oyley Beattie
« on: Tuesday 06 October 20 03:17 BST (UK) »
Hello members! I’m brand-new to the site and fairly new to genealogy. My grandfather was Josselyn D’oyley Beattie, born in Tralee, in April 1889. He emigrated to South Africa, married Evelyn Violet Clark, and died in 1965, in the city of Durban. He had two sons - John and David. John was my father. Does anyone out there know anything of this Josselyn D’oyley Beattie please? His father was James Josselyn D’oyley Beattie, born in Wales. He died when his oldest son Josselyn was only 5 years old.

From the transcript, your grandfather was born in Nelson Street, Tralee. On GeoHive and the Historic Map 25 inch (1888-1913), here's Nelson Street on the link.
