[in making comparison of maps. I thought that Round Robin Farm might have been the new name for Maggot Mill Farm - briefly -for the 1851 Census shows both & quite separate. At least that is one possibility fewer. T ]

To explain further.  Magot Mill Farm is roughly in the Andrews & Dury map where Round Robin Farm
appears in 6 inch OS maps with tracks linking the 2 showing some similarity. I had not heard anyone suggest they were one and the same. T

Thank ypu all for keeping this matter alive. It won't be for want of trying if we don't get there in the end.

In the Wilts & Glos Std of 15 April 1865 Mr. Charles Edmonds has become a churchwarden.
In the same paper of 22 March 1857 we find the carter of Mr. C Edmonds in court for refusing to pay a toll'
I have not been able to find Maggot Mill Farm in the 1861 Census. Is it possible therefore that in the period 1857 - 1865 that Fresden & Magot Mill Farms were combined and the latter was demolished by the owner, The Earl of Radnor. Is anyone aware of the existence of Coleshill Estate papers which presumably would have recorded such an event and if not perhaps rent returns of both farms might be seen.
Just a thought. T

I've found Maggot Mill Farm on the 1840 tithe map - it does appear to be the Fresden Farm that appears on this 1900 OS map: https://maps.nls.uk/view/106026124#zoom=4&lat=7483&lon=7228&layers=BT

The Tithe map has a slightly different orientation but you can see that the plan of the buildings is pretty much the same:

That's wonderful ShaunJ. Does the index give acres for the plots  such as 88, 89,92 for further confirmation? Thanks. T
