John Meddoms marriage

Hi all,

I would be grateful if anyone can assist in finding the marriage of John Meddoms 1840-1868 to Sarah Abbotts. The 1861 Census lists him as "married" a farmer of 130 acres at Hornton, Oxfordshire with his "wife", Sarah and new born daughter also named Sarah.

I have hunted for some time now all to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. David

 Vol 3a page 923 Banbury Sept quarter 1859

Listed are...John Dale
                  Elizabeth Grantham
                  Elizabeth Hancock
                  JOHN MEDDIONS
                  JOHN MEDDOWS
                  Joseph Stranks
                  Joseph Streaks.

 So 3 grooms two different spelling but only 2 brides but cannot see the right bride as Sarah

Possibly John Meddows / John Meddoms? belongs on page 932

Possible spouses Sarah Wilcox, Mary Gardner

There are multiple indexings on FreeBMD because the old indexes are difficult to read.  It looks like MEDDOMS to me.
