John Meddoms marriage

I have hunted for some time now all to no avail.

Well done to Rosie for finding that first marriage for Sarah.

The name Wilcox is completely foreign to me. Sarah was born Abbotts, daughter of Thomas Abbotts and Kitty Clark Tredwell in 1836, baptised at St Mary, Banbury on 14th October 1836.

Are was saying she married a Wilcox BEFORE, Meddoms and her marriage to him was a second one? I've seen nothing to suggest that was the case.

Yes, great, great!! I understand now Rosie after re-reading what you have said. I had now idea before today that Sarah married twice (possibly even a third time) after John Meddoms died in 1868.

 Sarah Meddoms Banbury 1868  June quarter age 32 which would suggest a birth @1836.
