Following up on the likely parents, Joseph and Ellen. Ellen seems to go by a few names Leany, Ellen, Helen and Alney. Their son Francis married Mary Eliza Torbison in 1889 and Leany/Ellen is with them in 1891 at Essex Street, Stepney.

East London Observer
27 Feb 1875
Inquests In Bethnal Green
On Tuesday, Mr Humphreys held inquests at the Prince of Wales Tavern, Bonner-road, Bethnal Green, on the bodies of Joseph Francis Dobinson, aged 64 years; [& others].

In the case of the deceased man Dobinson, it appeared that he was a shoemaker, and resided at 1, Montford-place, Three Colts-lane. He had been unwell for some time past with a sore thumb, which arose from some poisoned leather upon which he had been at work. Up to Thursday last, however, he  seemed to get about as usual, but on that day he was seized with a shivering, and was attended by Dr Mainwaring, but the following morning he expired, and the result of an examination by Dr Mainwaring showed that death was due to natural causes, but accelerated by blood poisoning from the sore thumb. A verdict to that effect was accordingly returned.

Sorry not been on but work gets in the way.

Many thanks for all the information given.

Sarah Maria/ Caroline was my great grandmother.  She married as Sarah Maria but as you have found she is otherwise registered as Caroline, Caraline, Carry, Carey, and death certificate is Caroline.

Never found a birth for her, so was living in hope when sent for the birth for Sarah Maria but this then came back as parents Charles Dobinson and Caroline nee Sprickett.  So we are no further forward.

Thanks once again will follow up on the inquest details and other info.
