No marriage or death for a Phoebe Hunt or Phoebe Torkington post 1881

Jane Hunt's birth is registered with mmn Twigg June qtr 1870 Belper.  The other Jane Hunt birth was Sept qtr Chesterfield

Thanks for all your replies.

I'm going to take a punt here and suggest that Joseph and Phoebe didn't marry, which is why I can't find that event.  The only Joseph Fisher & Phoebe marriage I could find was when I thought he had married Phoebe Hill in Lancashire which sent me off on a wild goose chase.

Looking at the 1881 census, Hannah and Joseph Fisher were living in South Street, Whittington, Derbyshire.  (Piece3436Folio19Page number34)

A few doors up is Edward Slack living with his wife Phoebe, who was born in Pinxton, Derbyshire!

In 1891 Joseph is with Phoebe (Piece:   2766 Folio   77 Page 39) and I think Edward is with a new wife Jane (Piece number 2766 Folio23 Page 39).

My guess is that Phoebe Slack is co-habiting with Joseph Fisher.

Hannah Camomile has half a dozen sisters but not one named Phoebe.

No Maid of Kent, my Joseph was born 1829 Darnall, Yorkshire to Zephaniah and Elizabeth Fisher.

I’m sure we had all reached the conclusion there was no marriage but Phoebe Slack fits the “Phoebe Fisher” profile very well particularly as hubby Edward was with another woman.

I reckon the 1881 address and Phoebe’s birthplace clinch it.  Birthyear 1836 in 1881 is not that far short
