Watts family Newton Nottage Wales

Hi there ,
Doing my tree on my grandads side and was just wondering if anybody has come across or got any info on the Watts family that  lived in Newton Nottage wales appx 1860-1900
The Father was a Robert Watts ( my great whatever it is grandad ) he had sons one called David Watts again great whatever it is grandad who went on to have Thomas Watts who moved n lived his days in Porthcawl wales ..... think by all accounts they either had a farm or worked on a farm ..... any info appreciated , Paul ....  think Robert was originally born in Devon about 1823 ......

so - no David Watts - was he born after 1881 - which would be 9 years after the youngest Mary Watts - I will try and get 1891 info

NO DAVID in 1891 either ?? and mum Ann isn't there - maybe visiting someone else ? and address is Swan Street - so doesn't look like they live on a farm ??

love the name Perlec - never seen that name before - might be easier to research her ??

She was baptised PERLEE WATTS on freebmd she is Pearley and she dies 1949 as Purley aged 61...

I think Ann’s maiden name was Lewis, all the children were registered in Bridgend Registration District with mother’s maiden name Lewis.

Morning
Yeah I seen that for Robert , but couldn’t for the life of me figure out the second name of the family ( tapp )  ..... also found his birth certificate which only states his mum Jane , so must be along the right lines .... I had a Robert watts pop up that was born in usk Monmouthshire wales about the same time , I’ll need to sit down this evening or at the weekend n spend a couple of hours working it through again .... make sure am on the right line , thanks for your replies though n have a pleasant day , ( I’m at wrk ) Paul

If as someone said they were registered under the mother’s maiden name ( Lewis ) does this mean they will be known as David Lewis n not David watts if so it changes everything
