Margaret Davies and Brothers
« on: Thursday 15 October 20 19:05 BST (UK) »
Looking for help to find the birth of Margaret Davies  and her brothers her parents were Robert Parry Davies and Annie Walmsley
Annie born about 1903 Liverpool
Robert Parry Davies Abergele 1901
Annie and Robert married about 1924 they had three children Wesley and Robert
I know that Robert worked in wavertree he said as a Chauffeur
But could have just been a van driver
They did move to Holywell at some time but struggling to find births
Thank you

Do you know if the children are still alive? Rootschat has a policy that  living persons can't be discussed

The births aren't difficult to find if you search for Davies with mother's maiden name Walmsley on FreeBMD

Robert & Annie are in Holywell by 1939 and appear on the 1939 war register, it also gives their dates of birth.

You say you found 2 births, who are you missing.

Thank you what’s a war register, I will look
I made the dates wider for the missing Wesley and he popped up with the mothers surname 15 years later
A late baby I guess
Thanks so much for the reply

Hi, not sure if you subscribe to Ancestry or Findmypast but both these web sites have the 1939 records. hey were taken in order to possible issuing of ration books among other thing. If you google 1939 war register it will give you some insight. We are not allowed to post exact details on rootschat but can give you a steer in the right direction.
