Hi Maureen, yes, that is correct - interestingly, a lot of the descendants of John Evans had Ellis as a second name!  eg) Stanley Ellis Evans and Richard and Robert Ellis Evans - I've not yet seen any indicators as to why as their Mother was a "Brown"

Thanks Gadget!  I think I already have a photo of the very house too lol - I just couldn't make out the name for love nor money last night!  It doesn't help when I have the photograph stored under a similar but incorrect name lol - thank you again; this is indeed the family home at that time!
