Thanks to a reply on an earlier thread that I missed I think they Married in Castleisland Kerry , Joanna was listed as Leane,I think Thadeus was from Killarney,if anyone could help me search for him that would be great as I have been looking all evening, he had a brother Daniel born in 1828,

Can anyone help me find the Marriage records for Timothy Hartnett and Johanna Lane /Lehane
They had children born and were listed in St Mary's Shandon, Cork, Timothy was born in 1826 ,their first child was Catherine Hartnett born on 30 March 1851
I contacted St Mary's and paid the fee and they sent me all the details of the children but said they didnt Marry there, I have exhausted all search engines but hoping someone can help me find the Marriage.

Marriages usually take place in brde's parish after which they attended/had children baptised in the prish they were resident so it's a good idea to check neighbouring parishes to see if 1) records around time of marriage might exist and 2) marriage is recorded. Also bear in mind 1st known child might not hav been the eldest so don't limit dates too much. If you do find a marriage them also check same for child/children born shortly after or even a few years later.

Yes I did, I went back and looked and found a reply that I missed telling me of a match to them that married in Castleisland Kerry,  I have looked into this all evening and I think its them !! Thadeus I think may have been from Killarney, think I may have finally broken through a brick wall  :)
