The marriage of Robert Blair and Elizabeth/Eliza Hughes easily found but his father is Richard Blair, dead (not Robert) which means he's unlikely to be Ellen's brother/half brother. Robert is a widower living at, I think, Bovain.

So, looking for Robert's 1st marriage (in case father's name is incorrect) I found this one-
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1849/09369/5393038.pdf
Robert Blair, age 22 (so born c1827), married Ellenor Rice, daughter of Charles Rice. His father again listed as Richard Blair.
Remember that one of Ellen Farrell's older daughters called Norah (a form of Eleanor as is Ellen) and she had a son called Charles.

This is how I think the family tree goes-
Richard Blair (d.before 1863)
1. Robert Blair (c1827) m.(1849) Ellenor Rice (d.by 1863), m.(1863) Elizabeth Hughes
     1. Ellen Blair (born before 1863? of daughter of Ellenor Rice)
     2. William Blair, witness to Ellen's 1886 marriage-possibly her brother/half brother

Now, back to Robert Blair's 2nd marriage to Elizabeth Hughes. There weren't a lot of Robert Blairs in Dungannon registration district (only 3 deaths) and I found this one early on-
Robert Blair died just before 1901 census- 7 Jan.1901 Ballynakilly, age 65, married, informant was a daughter Mary A.

There's a widow Eliza Blair in Ballynakilly in 1901 and 1911-

http://census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Tyrone/Drumaspil/Ballynakilly/864992/ (says she an old age pension so would be worth looking for pension extract.
Possibly her death?

Going back to Robert Blair's death- informant was daughter Mary A. Mc_ (hard to read) but here's her married in 1877- note bride's residence was Derry.

I read this thread today with great interest as I am researching my Blair's from Co. Tyrone. My great grandfather was Joseph Henry Blair born July 14, 1866 in Coash to Robert Blair and Ann(e) Eliza Watters. Robert and Anne Eliza were married April 29, 1846 in Killyman. Robert's father is only listed as Dead.
I found Anne Eliza in 1891 in Motherwell, listed as a widow age 58. It is definitely her as she is with son Joseph and 2 other children.  I have some birth, death and marriage certificates for some of the other children in the family.
The reason I am interested in this thread is that I found a death of a Anne Eliza Blair age 80 a widow in Coalisland Tyrone on Aug 22, 1916 and the informant was a Thomas Farrell grandson from Drumenagh. When I traced Thomas Farrell I found one whose mother was Ellen Farrell maiden name Blair.
SO just wondering if this is my Anne Eliza's death and is she actually Ellen's mother??
