Ernest James William Hobden - 1903-1947

Hi,

I am looking for info on my Grandfather, Ernest James William Hobden.

I have his birth at 8 June 1903, baptised in Maclear Anglican Church
married Mary Louisa McAllister 11 Sept 1926 in Libode
dies 12 April 1947 ib Dbn, buried in Stellawood Cemetary, Durban.

I have his parents as Ernest Hobden and Eleanor Croften


I am trying to get more info on his family, - parents, siblings etc

Ernest Snr was born about 1875 and died 27/12/1910 in Cape Town. He was married to Eleanor CroftOn.  They only had one child - Ernest James William. I have found the birth of one child to them - Jean Mary who was born on 26/4/1934.

I have messaged you regarding the paperwork.

According to the marriage certificate for Ernest Snr. Eleanor's surname was New.  So she was Eleanor CroftOn New when she married.
