Agnes Crompston - Born in Captain French Lane, Kendal, Westmorland on 04 Jul 1842 to Edward Compston and Agnes (Preston) Braithwaite. Agnes Compston married Thomas Kitchen and had 4 children. She passed away on 20 Nov 1914 in Matchedash, Simcoe, Ontario.

This is the couple with all 4 children -

1891 census Matchedash Simcoe East Ontario.

Isabel Kitchen 11 Daughter

Thank you for tying this up, Thomas related to James.
I have been looking at this line in detail, and now you have confirmed to me that they are one of the same.
I say that as I have frequently come up with a second entry for James.

I have been initially subscribing that this Kitchen started of with as:

James Kitchen: Birth: February 28, 1845/6-1924 in England.. married Jemima (Mina) Russell 1858/9-1930
however the James you are now referring to I also have potentially down as:
James Kitchen 1883-1960 married Hellen Gertrude Briggs 1882/92-1975

Further more a third entry of a James Dudley Kitchen 1876-1949 married Edith Catherine/Caroline Briggs 1885-1948

Sorry to be confusing things here, hopefully you can put me right please?

Massachusetts Passenger List - James Kitchen aged 25 years - Liverpool to Boston on the Aleppo - arriving 13/10/1871 -  Also Joseph aged 20 years - Thomas aged 25 years 
Those would appear to be brothers.

James Kitchin - Age 44 years -  Birth Year 1846 England
Marriage Date13/05/1890 (13 May 1890) Simcoe Ontario
Father James Kitchin  - Mother Jane Kitchin - Spouse  - Jemima Russell.

James Kitchen was the son of Thomas Kitchen and Agnes. Married - 18 May 1914 Orillia Simcoe.
James Kitchen aged 30 years - Helen Gertrude 22 years.
