Tadeusz Zemla - Man of mystery
« on: Tuesday 20 October 20 13:56 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have any information on Flight Sergeant Tadeusz Zemla, born 3rd May 1916 in Krakow, Poland and died 16th June 2005 in Chadderton, Lancs.  He is recorded as a pilot with the Polish Air Force in exile (based in England) but I cannot find him in any of their squadrons.  Many thanks

Thank you CaroleW.  There was only one man of this name in the Polish Air Force so this is very promising.

Thank you CaroleW,

I think you are right.  His great nephew emailed me a few minutes ago and confirmed the detail that you supplied earlier and said he married again in the 1970s and had more children - bit of a surprise because he would be 56 in 1972!  Sadly he knows very little else about his great uncle.

No children listed to second marriage - just found this on another forum.  Death reg shows birthdate 3.5.1919 - post shows  3.5.1916

Says he changed his name to Edward Jordon??  Only posted recently
