Does his military record show any previous service?

There is a 22 yr old Patrick Gavin in 1911 in Barracks in England
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XW8W-17H

He is in the Lancashire Fusiliers and there  is a Fold3 record which gives birthplace as ‘Kilclosne’ Galway.
FindmyPast shows a record for the same name, birthplace Kilclooney, Ballinasloe.

The record I referred to earlier was Lancashire Fusilers.

Ladyhawk refers to one in the Leinster Reg. with that number 18118

There is also a reference to one b Kilclooney in 88th Regiment, Connaught Rangers enlisting in 1906. His mother is Margaret Gavin.  :-\

Have just been re reading  all the answers I have got back and I am guessing the only way I could nail him down would be to find him on the 1921 census but that is not going to happen  :-\ as I have mentioned before there is no trace of him in the 1939 register so I think its as far as I can go.
                                                     Thanks again everyone.
