Chapel of the Pines Cemetery, Los Angeles, 1948
« on: Thursday 22 October 20 13:12 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have any knowledge of the Chapel of the Pines Cemetery in Los Angeles?

The death certificate of my great aunt Margaret Chute states that she was cremated there on 3rd December 1948.  I am keen to discover whether a memorial stone survives.

Many thanks.

So kind of you to respond to this Sandra.
I remain hopeful to discover where she was laid to rest.
All best to you.

Sandra

and that page gives you the address and a phone number if you wanted to contact them.
Another # I found by Googling is (323) 731-4040.

edit: On a reverse search, the # comes back to Daehan Mortuary Service at the same address. maybe the business name ? they'd know.

Thank you, I'll pursue the Daehan Mortuary Service as nothing has come from trying the phone numbers for the Cemetery itself.
