iFamily for Mac
« on: Thursday 22 October 20 16:55 BST (UK) »
Does anyone else use this program?

I have used it for several years and have been reasonably happy.

However, having now upgraded my computers. both my desktop and laptop, to the latest Mac OS. I find I cannot run the program. I know that there is an upgrade available which can be installed and will work on my computers, but unable to reinstall due to a forgotten password.

Despite numerous e-mails to the publisher, I have not received any reply and I am therefore well and truly stuffed. Am I alone in having problems with this company? Or is their monumental neglect of customer service normal for them?

I am very dissatisfied with them and would shift to a new program, if only I could download a gedcom, but alas I can't even do that as the program won't run.

Hi there,

I googled 'iFamily for Mac' and noticed there's an Australian supplier.   :)

Have you considered making email contact with:

inquiries [at] gould.com.au

So  ;D just change [at] to @

I do not have a Mac.  :)

Thanks. I e-mailed Gould yesterday and have received no reply.

Very annoyed with this situation, as I have a lot of research embedded in this program.

Really poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else purchasing this software, which is a shame as it adopts a slightly different approach to record keeping that I rather like.
