Charles Henry Mansell 1884 baptism
« on: Friday 23 October 20 16:54 BST (UK) »
I am now looking for a baptism for Charles Henry Mansell reg. 1884 Aston.

His sister was baptised in 1886 at St Margaret's Ward End, Aston.

Parents are Richard and Caroline Emma Mansell.

Richard was a policeman so I supposed they moved around.

I suppose his burial would be somewhere between St Margarets Ward End 1886 and Duke Street, Sutton Coldfield where his brother John Sydney was baptised in 1890.

I have found his burial in the Sutton Coldfield burial index on the same page as his brother Alfred in 1892.

Then it looks like John Sydney deserted in 1913 from the navy never found him again.

A Charles Henry Mansell was baptised at St Saviour's Church, Saltley (maybe a couple of miles East of St Margaret's). Baptised 5 April 1885, son of Richard and Caroline Emma, living in Adderley Road, Saltley. Born 5 September 1884.

There is another baptism at St Saviours for this couple, Edith, baptised 22 August 1886, the parents now living in Ward End, where St Margaret's is. Born 28 July 1886.

Whoops! Sorry, looked in the wrong row - Edith was of course baptised at St Margaret's.
