LeMont/Lamont Wolfe

I would like to find what became of Lamont after his marriage if possible.
Lamont was born 1898 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. He married Lea Mildred Mead 1 Aug 1933 in Toronto and his occupation was salesman. Lea was living in Blenheim Ontario by 1945. She died in 1993 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
I think Lamont shows on Voters Lists in 1940 Spadina as a salesman and 1957 Trinity as unemployed. Other than that I can find no trace of Lamont

You can link to his WW1 army records (62 pages) and on page 45 there is a note circled in red that he was deceased on 31-01-60.

I also found out that he was buried in Pine Hills Cemetery (now part of the Mount Pleasant Group) in Scarborough, Ontario. Plot 2232, Section K. 1960, age 61.

If I read his file correctly he enlisted as a Private and demobed as Lieutenant. His unit must have had some terrible casualties.

Lamont Wolfe mentioned (with great courage) on Page 165 out of 418 digital pages (actual page 129 in book).  I have not read his complete personal file or the book. Perhaps some more details for you in the text.

I checked the Toronto Star and Globe obituary pages from Jan 31 1960 to Feb 10 1960 and I didn't see him listed.    He may not have had an obit??

1958 Toronto Directory has La mont Wolfe, shpr Lightning Fastner.  It says where he lives, but the name of the street is in the fold of the book and can't be seen.
