Thomas Frederick Brown Birmingham
« on: Sunday 25 October 20 14:44 GMT (UK) »
Thomas Frederick Brown was born in Birmingham 5 Dec 1876.  He married Emma Smith 1899 FreeBMD.  In 1901 census his brother Charles H is with him born 1882 Walsall.  I am unable to find them together in 1891 census so feel I will need to get yet another marriage certificate.  However I thought it was worth a shot beforehand to see if anyone can see anything I've missed.  Hoping for some luck and thank you if you can help please.

1891 Census reference RG12  2254  8  9

Includes a Charles Henry Brown that "fits" the 1901 find - but no Thomas Frederick. However, the oldest child and parents born Birmingham?

possibility?

FREDERICK THOMAS BROWN
Birth year   1876 Aston, Mother's maiden name   Bridgen

I can't 'see' the brother in index

Scrub that. I think the father is Jasper Brown, and the son is still single in 1911

Re the 1891 census this is probably the marriage -
Thomas Brown, Sep 1876, Birmingham, 6d 364 - on same page Charlotte Elizabeth Evans.

There are GRO birth registrations
Thomas Frederick Brown, Mar 1877, Aston - mother's maiden name Evans
Charles Henry Brown, Sep 1880, Walsall - mother's maiden name Evans

Suzard
could you tell me where you found the parish register image for Thomas & Charlotte as I have been searching for Thomas Frederick Brown marriage to Emma Smith Ashton RD  1899 with no luck.  I have Thomas Frederick & his family but too many Emma Smiths to pinpoint her.  Her father's name would be helpful.  Her birth date in Birmingham given in 1939 is 2 Aug 1877.
Thank you for any help.
