Being a carpenter is a skill with the hands and he makes his poetry with wood...

I have a friend who can write beautiful poetry and make the most mundane scene, item, event sound wonderful, it’s a real talent I’d love to have... sadly I’ll have to stick with using my hands!

To me the true art of writing is enabling the reader to visualise the scenario being written... you have that talent Mowsehowse as do you Roobarb along with your painting, Viktoria’s is keeping us all smiling and laughing and her wonderful memory and her tales...

I am posting here today because my news is all good.
P has gone into remission after his first-round of chemo. He still needs to do another 3 rounds each taking 5 weeks.
Did a little happy dance around the lounge.

That's nice Caroline, thank you.  I often use the phrase "visual poem", and I agree that skilled crafts people, (such as your own son,) do make poetry with their chosen medium.  To be able to create something which is both practical and beautiful is priceless.

Wonderful to learn P is in remission Carol, and I know you are starting to regain your fitness too. :D
