SORRY MY MISTAKE

I think that was an easy mistake to make LM,  I kept going back and checking that England was the surname and not the place   ;D

This is definitely him in the 1911 census. I know this for a fact. My great grandmother Lily Banks is also on there with him.

Ooops, Sorry I missed that.  ::)

I've looked at 1901/1891 Census and cant find anything for William England that fits, with or without a Father Thomas present.

There is a family tree online showing baptism

Lopen
born 31/01/1892
baptised 27/03/1892
father Fredrick and mother Sarah

Louisa Maud

PS Something is not quite right if the marriage shows Thomas as father and not Frederick as shown throughout census

The Lopen William is still with his parents Frederick & Sarah in 1911 so can't be the same one

Hi All,

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and do some searching for me. It really is much appreciated!

Mistakes are easily made; I too have been struggling with researching the family surname England, for obvious reasons  ;D

I have just written and posted a letter to the farm where he worked with my great grandmother in 1911 in the hope that they might have some historic photos perhaps of them working on the farm so fingers crossed I hear something back! :)

Thanks again,  :-*
