1911 where was young John Henry PRITCHARD

Yes it's lucky this census gave married years and number of children for lady of the house and the servant

It must say 7 years not 17 unless she lied

First child would be born under name of Pritchard .
I wonder if John H was baptized after her marriage then  he may have gone by Barker in intervening years
The other child could have been pre marriage too

There are a few trees with Melinda none seem to have her with any children except if they knew about John Henry PRITCHARD

She married again very soon after Stewart BARKER s tragic death ..in a submarine

may have outlived her.

I thought the HILL family of 1901 could be family ..so sad for an 8 year old to be boarded out .

I can't find a death before 1911 for Alfred

She seems to favour the name Henry as both boys have that middle name -she had an older brother called Henry

Can’t find her in 1891 either

If she was already pregnant or living with Mr unknown she may have been going by his surname

I know some people can look up first names only and Melinda is quite unusual or she may have used Lily or Lillian

I wondered if he could still be with Hill couple in 1911

A descendant of john H has is birth certificate so the address in there will definitely help in this hunt .

I.ll look at his proffession  in later documents I know he was a pilot in 1940 but that may have been war proffession

Are you thinking that's too old to be a pilot ?
There are some letters in next column I can't make them out

There were other kinds of pilots too I suppose ( I think canal boats had pilots) neither field seems likely in kings Brooklyn NY USA
