John Lake of Darrington

Hi, could anyone try help me go further back on John Lake of Darrington please?

i have John Lake marrying Elizabeth Crossland in Methley 2nd Feb 1756 says of Darrington, now ive found a baptism in Leeds for a John Leake to Richard in 1731 but i can not connect it.  so dont think this is correct line. however i have a connection to Robert Lake.

Johns Daughter Amy Lake marries Valentine Raby, Their John married Ann Connell, Anns Aunt Grace Connell marries a Robert Lake 1757-1805) Methley. i think this Robert may be linked in.

So I guess this is Elizabeth.

There is a record on Ancestry, which has been attributed to the John born 1723 Methley, Yorkshire
John Lake Burial at Methley 31 Jan 1815 age 88 (1827) residence Woodlesford part of Rothwell

I think this may be John Lake born 1725 burial 15 Dec 1768 Kippax, Yorkshire but no age.

i have Elizabeth Crossland death, there children and her parents.

i dont think the John Lake b1725 is mine, if you think the death of this John is 1768 as Children were still been born till 1779.

will go check the death 1815.

so ive done some more digging around, if John Lake birth is that of father Robt Leake in Wakefield, then it possibly fits..

now ive also come across this lot :
John Raby is my 5th gt uncle, he married Sarah Lake b1787 in 1802 Kippax they were from Stanley Cum wrenthorpe.
John Raby is brother to Valentine Raby who married Amy Lake daughter of John Lake and Elizabeth Crossland

Sarah Lake father is Admiral Lake, and his father is Robert Lake, all from Wkefield.

now to link these lakes together
