Thank you again. This is what I found when I googled his and his wife’s name.

William Joseph Eddicotte born 10 July 1824 Moretonhampstead, Devon and died before 1894 in St. John’s, Newfoundland
He Married
Sarah Williams and had 8 children. She was born Petty Harbour, Newfoundland
