Hello

I’m looking to find info on a grave within Arbroath western cemetery

William Simpson McDonald is buried there

Details of
Burial - date - 19-5-82
And situated - D 681

Is anyone familiar with this area/cemetery or know of where to find a photo of grave etc

Hi Ryan, Have you looked at the entry on Find A Grave? Arbroath Western Cemetery.

It says - Graveside details McDonald, William Simpson buried on 19th May 1982 Recorded at Arbroath Western (Angus) Date of Death 16th May 1982.

Unfortunately there is no photograph of the Grave but you can go on to the site and request one. Although how long you would wait under the present circumstances I cannot guess.

Always worth a try.

I live in Arbroath.Next time I am near the cemetery I'll see if there is a stone and take a photo for you

For a cost, you can purchase a Burial Register Scan and a Map of Grave Location at https://www.deceasedonline.com, both of which seem to be available for the chap in question. You may already have same.
