Those are very interesting finds.
The second one is not long before Peter died, possibly Bridget knew things weren't looking good?
Is her bother the Thomas Lynch who met a similar fate to Peter, in 1917? Not married, according to the death record.

I can give you another son of Peter and Johanna Murphy!

On my Bernard Murphys marriage b.1903 Reg Clogheen in 1930 he gives his father as Peter Murphy an Army Captain but I am inclined to dismiss this occupation as maybe fantasy given the disfunction in the Murphy/Lynch family to date. Bernard on his marriage was living in Cork City sadly after his wifes death leaving him with a young child he went to UK and died in 1944 so sadness all round
