Haven't found anybody in 1901!
Is this the death of the grandmother/mother
30 May 1918, Cahir, Mary Lynch, age 87, widow of a lock smith
Informant daughter Bridget Murphy, Cahir

Yes this is Bridgets mother she was living with Bridget in 1911 census. When Bridget married Peter Murphy his occupation is a Millwright & his father is William a Miller deceased. I cannot locate Peter Murphy in 1901 either. Thank you

Hi
No, Peter is elusive. We have his marriage, a possible death in 1927 if he and Bridget split up and she wasn't really widowed in 1911, but haven't been able to pin him down otherwise.

Possible good news of Mary born 13.11.94, Cahir
In Limerick in 1911, Mary Lynch, 16, Domestic Servant, born Cahir Co. Tipperary

Well done to dathai for sorting that out.

Is it worth looking at the Ireland, Petty Sessions Court Registers, Cahir? :-\
11 Oct 1900 there seem to be a lot of results indexed for a Bridget Lynch and a William Lynch.
No idea if their appearances are connected, or whether related to the couple of this topic (sorry!)

Tks Dathai for info. Peter Murphy is the core of my search and is proving very elusive. His son Bernard married an ancestor of mine & I have all these details.
