I have hit a brick wall researching two lines of my ancestors. My great great grandparents were Michael Killane and Brigid Doherty. I have located their parish marriage record (Templemichael, Armagh, Longford) dated April 16, 1855. Unfortunately their parents’ names are not given. I have estimated when they may have been born and I have found possibilities but I cannot seem to find proof of a direct link. I have also looked for siblings of theirs but again I have no way of knowing if it is accurate. Any advice on finding the names of Michael Killane’s and Brigid Doherty’s parents?
