Do we know where Bombers Brow was/is? The “Brows” - locally known as “Brews” generally link the higher levels of the town centre with the Underbanks (originall the line of the Tin Brook) but I’ve never come across “Bombers”.

None of them seem to appear on the OS - https://maps.nls.uk/view/114581257

Sorry don't know where it is just address on marriage cert. Could I please have more help, can't find John & Catherine on 1861 census. Have found marriage & Catherine  is Ann's daughter Catherine Hogan. Trying to see if I can connect Eliza & John as have Eliza's father as Edward Moran labourer but don't have mothers name. Have two possibles an Elizabeth Mc Donnell or a Catherine? in Dublin church records.

HO107/2156 folio 644 page 14

And if you go back to page 1, then you will see that "Bombers Brow" is also known as Crowther Street.  Although Bombers appears to be written as Bumbers.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
