I have managed to make contact with the man in Australia and he has confirmed that he is the son of Ryszard Antoni Talady and he will help me.  Watch this space!  And thanks to all who have responded.

Hi, I just stumbled upon this thread and found it very interesting as I am a Granddaughter of Rysard. I live in Australia  as well as my father. I would love to hear of the results you find as I know very little about granddads side and his time in the forces.
