With his RASC army number 10670208 you can apply to the MoD for a copy of his service records:  https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records/apply-for-someone-elses-records

Most of the army records for him on FindMyPast (casualty/PoW listings) are under the name Dingli.

Yes that what I have. If he was living in Egypt all his life, how would he be in the British Army?

Egypt was under British control in those days. Part of the British Empire.

If I send off for his records as Im not next of Kin they would they show me more than I already know?

He died more than 25 years ago so you should get the full file.

I applied for my dad's army papers a few years ago and got  20+ pages of A3/A4.
