There is also a death of a Jemima WALL - 1854, Hereford . ....  (1861 census has George WALL and Elizabeth WALL)

Came to a similar conclustion myself Capetown re George re-marrying. Jemima died 1854 in Kings Stanley. Burial image records age as 32 but gro index as 52.

George is a visitor in 1851 census in Ealing. ref HO107 1699 98 24

Think George married Elizabeth Phelps dq 1855 Hereford.

When Dorothy Wall the daughter of George & Emily married on the 1.8.1925 her father is recorded as George Wall occ stone mason. Her address was 405 Victoria Road Aston. One witness was a George Wall.

There are Gloucestershire Wills on Ancestry - and just reading the Will of George ELY - 1820 a Cloth worker - in Kings Stanley (seems to be fairly well off!)

He does mention his Brother Anthony ELY of Peterchurch in the County of Hereford .... and 3 daughters, Mary, Jemimah and Keiziah.
