Word Under Lodger
« on: Friday 06 November 20 14:47 GMT (UK) »
Both of them are lodgers but have a word under each?

Based on the surnames they should be related to the head of the household in some way.

Please could you say which census, and give the reference so that we can look at the entire page?

Yes of course - 1851 census - Warwickshire - Packwood - ALL - 1 - page 14.

For anyone else who wants to look, the reference is HO 107/2071/351/13

I think it says ' Relitave (i.e. relative) & Lodger'.

It's an ampersand, i.e. & (and)
