Passenger List for the ship "Ann Wilson" "COMPLETED"
« on: Saturday 27 August 05 01:34 BST (UK) »
I was hoping there was some kind person out there that can do a look up for the passenger list for the "Ann Wilson" that arrived at Wellington  in March 1857. I am wanting to find out more information on a family that was aboard. FIELD - W.Sarah,A.George & James. I need to confirm names and  ages. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi paganlynny,

This one took a bit of searching! There's a list for that voyage at
http://www.angelfire.com/az/nzgenweb/passenger.html
but it doesn'tseem to mention your family. Incomplete, perhaps.

Regards, riley

Cheers for that riley. I just had a reference to the family thru the Comber index and the Wellington Ind.

Hi Lyn.

We have been doing some research into the Ann Wilson but have not found a completer list showing ages etc. Had a look in Archives New Zealand yesterady and there were no references.

It seems that the only references to the Ann Wilson are from the newspapers Wellington Independent and the Cook's Straite Spectator.

Sorry we cannot be of more help.

Peter.
