Emma's family are a mess

She's on 1861 in this family group in Dittisham

Mary Jane Crook    29
Mary Ellen Crook    5
Susanna Crook    3
Emma L Crook    1
Mary Ann Silly    56 - boarder
Ellen Silly    13 - niece
Eliza Ann Silly    8 - niece
Mary Jane Silly    6 - niece
Emma Silly    3 - niece

Ellen is definitely Mary Ann's daughter - there's a baptism for her, daughter of William and Mary Ann.  Her birth is registered with mmn Hutchings, which fits earlier censuses for Mary Ann as there are Hutchings relatives in the household

I think Mary Jane Crook is also Mary Ann's daughter -  there's a Mary Jane Seally marrying William Crook in 1853 and she's the right age for Mary Ann's daughter from 1851

I am struggling with births of the other Silly girls.  Niece would suggest child of one of Mary Ann's siblings, and all of those at home in 1851 were female

Is this the John W Collings the witness,

COLLINGS, JOHN  WAKEHAM     mmn LUSCOMBE
GRO Reference: 1855  M Quarter in TOTNES  Volume 05B  Page 149

So probably Samuel's brother.

If this is so, does this mean Samuel luscombe was born under a different father?

This is  RObert's Henry's death

SILLY, ROBERT  HENRY
Age 1
Q1   1861  TOTNES  Volume 05B  Page 137

I think the family relationships may be a bit loose, or they didn;t go in for registering all the births. I'm struggling with the two younger Crook girls as well
