Gaius Harris Born 1835 Sussex, England

Hello, I am trying to trace the ancestors of my great great grandfather Gaius Harris born 1835 in Sussex, England.

His son was also named Gaius, born 1865 in Eastbourne Sussex.

Gauis ( born 1835 ) was married to Francis, also born 1835 in Sussex.

That's as far back as I have managed to trace him. I cannot find the names of his parents to trace the line back any further.

Gaius Harris married Fanny Pope in Brighton St Nicholas 18\April 1858

There is a baptism of a Gaius Harris on 15 Feb 1835 at East Dean, East Sussex (there is also an East Dean in West Sussex so be careful) to parents John & Celia Harris of East Dean, he a labourer.

This tallies with the 1871 census entry on family search: https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?q.givenName=gaius&q.surname=harris&q.birthLikePlace=england%2C%20sussex&q.birthLikeDate.from=1830&q.birthLikeDate.to=1840&m.defaultFacets=on&m.queryRequireDefault=on&m.facetNestCollectionInCategory=on&count=20&offset=0  (sorry not sure how to shrink link).
