Name of witness
« on: Monday 09 November 20 12:51 GMT (UK) »
Can anybody make out the name of the witness for an 1802 marriage? I can make out the surname which I think could be "Swift" but I'm not sure how to read the forename.  ;D I'm hoping it could be the bride's yet-to-be-confirmed stepfather.

Yes, I think you're right. My first thought was James but I can make out the "Th" now. Thank you, Kay  ;D
