Can someone look over the information I have found, Please!
« on: Tuesday 10 November 20 05:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I am up against a brick wall with this family group.  I am finding it very hard to find the parents of Joseph Charles JACKSON 1828 - 1882.  I have been unsuccessful in finding a marriage certificate for Joseph and Ellen lipyeat to obtain the fathers names.  Can someone please help, I don't have an Ancestry Membership at the moment?

THANK YOU!

There's also some useful info on a much earlier thread too.

Update;

Couldn't stand it any longer without accessing records, 2 weeks was too much, have now renewed my membership to Ancestry.

I think I may have had a breakthrough via Emma JACKSON, JC's sister or maybe NOT?  Is this the wrong Emma apart from living with her brother in 1871?  ???

1859 In the article found about JC and Ellen LIPYEAT it mentions Joseph JACKSON OF Wilderness Row

1861 Census she is living with her mum at 3 Wilderness Row
Mothers Name Mary Jackson a boot binder (not book)

Her Marriage to John Anthony MURRAY
1868 12 Apr  • St Mark, Myddelton Square, England
Fathers Name Robert Jackson a bootmaker
8 Wilderness Row Given as address on Marriage Cert

1871 with JC and Ellen living in Edmonton as an Unmarried sister Assistant?
