Was residence a medical facility?

A family member died in 1914 of tuberculosis at 60 Hartington Terrace in South Shields.   This is not where the family was living at the time, and I am wondering if the property was used as a sort of hospice or for medical isolation.  Thank you for any help!

Who was the informant on the death certificate ?

No-one recorded at 60 on the 1911 census.  Always remember that they might have renumbered.

The only death of a Snaith in 1914 in South Shields is of Elizabeth Snaith aged 18.
