Go to Advanced search, click on Church records, click on baptisms, enter the surname Hutton, the first name Jean and the year 1848.

Her name is Hutton, not Hulton.

For future use, when you enter a name, there is a button at the side of it giving options. If you click on the second option "fuzzy", it brings up alternatives. If you had entered "Hulton" with the fuzzy option, it would probably have brought up Hutton too.

Ancestry has mistranscribed the name. It's Hutton, not Hulton.

I have asked for lots of re-scans from scotlandspeople, they are very helpful.

One time, when I said what I was not clear about, they gave their opinion, but also sent a new scan just for my records.

sadly they have said that due to Covid, they cannot provide any new scans.  They have refunded me the credits instead  :-\
