An Edmund W Sprawson is mentioned in a newspaper report in Taunton in 1888.  He was director of Telegraphs in Pretoria, born in Taunton.  Any connection?

Do you know your grandfather's name, or greatgrandfather's?

Added:
Sorry, not born in Taunton but 'an Old Taunton Post Office official'
