Farmer: Buchanan, 1951

Hi
I have found an ancestor on the 1851 census living in Buchanan.  Address is what looks like 37 Auchmar.  He is described as having 700 acres.

I am wanting to find out more about this; possibly a map of the area or information on farmers in general at this time.

I am not sure where to look so any information would be appreciated.

I think the 37 is perhaps the Schedule number rather than part of the address.
