Medal Roll/Medal Card
« on: Sunday 15 November 20 10:50 GMT (UK) »
If a man served in, say Regiment A, then Regiment B and then Regiment C, but only A and C appear on his Medal Roll and Medal Card entries, does that mean he didn't serve overseas with Regiment B, please?

Thanks
STG

PS : His service documents haven't survived, so the Medal Card/Medal Rolls are all I have to go on.

Fab!

That's what I thought, but it's always good to have it confirmed.

But............... if the last one is the Labour Corps then I find that they did not list all the in-between units, just the first and Labour Corps.

Maybe I should have said 'be careful' with the Labour Corps as they don't always show the in-between units.

I take it you man received his medals from the Labour Corps Rolls then?
If you want to, post his details in case there's something we can add?

EDIT: I see you have now.
