Blyth Local history:Hardwick's
« on: Tuesday 17 November 20 23:51 GMT (UK) »
I would be really grateful for any information, or images, concerning a clothing/tailoring business in Blyth that was called Hardwick's and trading I think in late 1960s/70s? No idea about address but I know phone number at the time was Blyth 4729 so that maybe helps a bit to date when shop was trading?
My first post on here so hope its in the right place!
Many thanks.    :)

In the Newcastle Journal 06 December 1969 there is an advert for the L.M.S. Motor Driving School at 5 Simpson Street, Blyth. So Hardwick was gone by then.

That fits with what I thought might be time frame  but narrows it to trading at that address up to 1969. Not into 1970s.
Very helpful, thanks.

Correcton My mistake looking at the Telephone Directories, E W Hardwick is listed at  5 Simpson Street, Blyth from 1972 to 1984.
