The Rencher family of Coventry

Please can anyone find a baptism for Ann Rencher so I can find out who her parents were? She married John Hammonds in 1821 in Mowsley, Leicestershire and in the later Census returns gives a birthplace of Coventry and a birth date around 1796. I have Census details for them and her death in 1872 in North Kilworth, Leics.

Do you know if she was a spinster when she married to confirm that was her birth surname?

There is no indication on the marriage certificate of her 'status' when she married  :)

In general the family is known as Wrencher in the USA.

Thank you all for replying.I had assumed she was a spinster, as there is no information to say she wasn't. I have tried different spellings of the name but not found anything. Any further suggestions most welcome!

Hi.
I can't find her either, but the Thomas born Coventry 1806 to parents William and Prudence could be related.
Have you seen her marriage record? Her maiden name could have been entered wrongly or mis transcribed. I have had a few guesses but nothing obvious found.
Her mother may have married after her birth and she married under her step father's surname.
These are some of the things I have come across in my tree.
