Today was my auntís funeral. My sister attended to represent our branch of the family. I was not able to go as Iím in a high risk zone and not allowed out of the lockdown area. She reported back that only 12 people attended. She was the last of her generation on my paternal line to die.
The reality is that I am now in the oldest living generation on my paternal line. Time for reflection and looking at family photos.

That is sad Panda.
How old was your Aunt .?
My sister ,not very interested in FH and I are now the only two left from my fatherís family .
My fatherís younger brother and sister had no children.
I think of them often ,so not forgotten .
I did visit and helped in their last years ,auntie was 14 when  their mother  died ,had no young life really ,kept house for father and two brothers .
No children .I liked her, and in a way I did it for my grandmother whom I never knew, dying at 40.

You thought of your aunt .
You canít do more in these strange times ,
Write a short biography of her ,for others to read .
That is more than very many people could hope for .
Let us know interesting things which you can share .
Sleep well.
